Orlando Reid has bolstered its property management operations through the acquisition of Bergins, a longstanding lettings specialist with deep roots in South Manchester's Northenden and Wythenshawe markets.

Marking Orlando Reid's opening acquisition of 2026, the transaction brings more than 250 managed properties into the firm's expanding portfolio, directly supporting its nationwide expansion objectives. The deal preserves operational continuity by retaining Bergins' complete staff complement, safeguarding established relationships with property owners and tenants while maintaining service quality standards.

Managing director Baljit Arora emphasized the strategic value of the acquisition: "Bergins has cultivated a reputation for reliability and client retention, evidenced by substantial recurring business. Their commanding position in the Northenden and Wythenshawe submarkets represents a significant asset, and we're pleased to integrate both their seasoned professionals and client relationships into the Orlando Reid ecosystem.

"This transaction advances our expansion roadmap as we systematically increase our managed property count and deepen our operational presence throughout South Manchester."

The Bergins portfolio integration directly supports Orlando Reid's growth trajectory, with the company targeting 2,500 properties under management across its group operations by year-end 2027.

In recent years, Orlando Reid has systematically broadened its service capabilities within the property sector, delivering investment advisory services, sales transactions, lettings operations, and comprehensive property management solutions to both domestic and international investor clients.
