The holiday season is the best time of year to buy a new TV. I've been tracking TV deals for over a decade and the next few weeks are historically when I see the lowest prices on OLED TVs, Mini-LEDs, and just about any type of 4K TV.

The holiday season typically starts in November, but October Prime Day is now underway and for the past few years it's been the new unofficial start to the holidays. All the big retailers — Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and Target — are running limited time sales this week and you guessed it — TV deals are front and center.

One of the best TV deals you'll find today is the Hisense 65-inch U6 Pro Mini-LED 4K TV for just $649. The U6 Pro is one of the best budget TVs we tested this year. It has a Mini-LED panel that produces vibrant colors and its 144Hz display is great for watching sports or playing games as it produces little to no motion blur.

Another great Prime Day TV deal is the TCL 65-inch QM7L SQD-Mini LED 4K TV for just $897. This TV won the Tom's Guide Award for Best Mini-LED TV and it's currently at its lowest price ever. It's an amazing Mini-LED TV that punches way higher than its price tag suggests.

There are plenty more TV deals I recommend and I'll be highlighting them all in our live blog. So make sure to check back frequently and also check out our October Prime Day live blog for deals on all other categories.

65" QM7L SQD Mini-LED TV: was $1199 now $997
The TCL QM7L recently won the Tom's Guide Award for Best Mini-LED TV of 2026. Its TCL's first Super Quantum Dot (SQD) TV and offers better contrast and color than rival Mini-LED TVs. 65" U6 Pro Mini-LED 4K TV: was $1099 now $647
The Hisense U6 Pro packs a ton of value behind a relatively reasonable price tag. It's an affordable Mini-LED TV that sits somewhere between an entry-level and mid-range model. Two of its four HDMI inputs feature 2.1 functionality (like support for 4K games up to 144Hz) and the screen is outfitted with a glare-free finish. We called it one of the best budget TVs of 2026, especially for sports fans.View Deal

65" B6 4K OLED TV: was $1399 now $1299
Amazon is secretly taking $100 off the LG B6 during checkout. That's an epic deal for a TV we called the best entry-level OLED TV of 2026. It supports 4K games at up to 120Hz and can kick it up to 144Hz with VRR enabled (a benefit for PC gamers). The TV also supports Dolby Vision, the most popular enhanced HDR format on the market. In our LG B6 OLED review, we said the Editor's Choice TV is nearly as good as the pricier C6, but for a fraction of the price. Note: The 48-inch model is a Best Buy exclusive and on sale for $799.

This TV recently debuted at $1,499, but Hisense is already promoting a generous discount on this souped-up screen. This TCL QM7L discount is my top TV deal of the day...

The TCL QM7L with a TG Awards 2026 badge

Happy Monday, everyone! I'm Louis, deals editor-in-chief at Tom's Guide. I've been covering deals and retail holidays for over 15 years, so when it comes to saving money — I'm your guy. I used to recommend people wait till Black Friday/Cyber Monday to make their TV purchases, but these days I don't.

October Prime Day has become the unofficial start to the holidays and for the next few days we'll be seeing some amazing TV deals. My top deal right now is this discount on the TCL QM7L. This TV won a Tom's Guide Editor's Choice Award and it also got the coveted Tom's Guide Award for Best Mini-LED TV. It's TCL's first Super Quantum Dot (SQD) TV and it offers better contrast and color than rival Mini-LED TVs. All sizes are selling at an all-time price low right now.

The best OLED you can buy in 2026 is on sale...

LG C6 OLED TV shown on a wood table

Buying an OLED TV has been one of the best tech purchases I've ever made. My OLED TV provides images that are sharp and realistic. This is especially true when watching dark, k-dramas like My Mister and Lost (both of which I recommend 100%).

If you're looking to buy your first OLED, the LG C6 is one of the best OLED TVs of 2026. It offers spectacular OLED performance (including ample brightness) for far less than what you'd have to pay for a flagship-level model. It also comes with a full slate of four HDMI 2.1 inputs, Dolby Vision support, and just about every gaming-related feature a dedicated gamer could ask for. This is the cheapest it's ever been.

This Roku TV is perfect for spare rooms and it's just $199...

Roku TV

(Image credit: Amazon edited with Gemini)

I love Roku's line of 4K TVs. I own the previous-gen version of the TV above and I love it because the picture quality is good enough and the Roku operating system is excellent for streaming from all of my favorite apps. All sizes of this TV are on sale today, but it's the 50-inch model that's at an all-time price low.

If you want a TV with stunning picture quality that'll be the centerpiece of your living room — I'd say look elsewhere. If you want a budget TV for the bedroom — it's a solid pick.

An amazing TV deal you won't find on Amazon...

Hisense UR8 4K TV

The Hisense UR8 is an RGB Mini-LED 4K TV. RGB LED TVs use an array of ultra-small LEDs arranged in dimmable zones. However, unlike Mini-LEDs — RGB LEDs use red, green and blue LEDs. As a result, you get brighter, purer colors than what we’ve come to expect from even the best TVs.

The UR8 is a Best Buy exclusive — along with many other RGB Mini-LEDs — and in typical Hisense fashion — it's disrupting the market with an insanely low price point. Case in point — this TV debuted at $1,699 and it's already down to $849, an all-time price low.

This big-screen Mini-LED TV just hit a new price low...

TCL QM6K on table

I know, I know — not everyone has room for an 85-inch TV, but if you've always wanted a big-screen TV at a reasonable price, this is your deal. In addition to its quantum-dot color, the TCL QM6K also comes with an advanced array of Mini-LED backlights. Google TV and Dolby Vision support are here, too, as well as a solid selection of gaming features. All sizes are on sale, but only the 85-inch model is an at all-time price low right now.

Amazon's version of The Frame is on sale...

Amazon Ember Artline Fire TV

Lifestyle TVs are getting their time in the spotlight. Also known as art TVs, these TVs double as art displays when you're not watching TV. Samsung's The Frame series is one of the most popular, but earlier this year Amazon debuted its own Art TV, which it calls its Ember Artline. The Ember Artline comes in two sizes (55 and 65 inches), supports Dolby Vision — something that Samsung TVs currently don’t have — and can be customized with an adjustable color frames. All sizes and display options are on sale right now with prices from $425.
